Our Services.

  • Skin and Nail Concerns.

We are experts when it comes to treating any of the following skin or nail concerns - thickened or fungal toenails, corns, callouses, plantar warts or ingrown toenails.

We have special techniques that we use to treat these conditions, and we know you will walk out of every consultation with your ‘dancing feet’ on.

  • Nail Surgery.

Sometimes a toenail can become ingrown and infected requiring a little more help to remove. The reason these toenails are so painful is usually due to a small nail spicule growing into the surrounding soft skin.

This can cause irritation of the blood vessels and nerves within this area causing the toe to become very painful. Skin breakdown can occur and the result can be an infection.

We have techniques to help with ingrown toenails before nail surgery is necessary, however, if these don’t get the results we had hoped for, a simple procedure called a Partial Nail Avulsion can be completed within our clinic rooms.

  • Footwear Assessments.

Shoes are an extremely important investment. Not only will they protect your feet in the sport you’re playing, gym you’re attending, shop you are browsing, café you are walking past, office you are working in they can actually be providing you treatment whilst just standing upright.

Certain qualities in appropriate shoes can aid in providing relief for forefoot injuries, arch pain, heel pain, ankle instability etc. We source good quality shoe stores to inform you of and encourage you to bring any shoes (new or old) to your appointments for us to assess their fit and function.

We want to ensure you are wearing the best shoe for your feet.

  • Heel, Arch and Forefoot Pain.

Common injuries include plantar fasciitis,  heel spurs, “shin splints”, stress fractures, sesamoid pathologies, Achilles tendon issues, other tendon pathologies, bursitis, hallux valgus/bunions and neuromas. These conditions can be very painful and are very important to diagnose.

Despite a thorough foot assessment including a combination of taping, advice, exercise/strengthening programs or small additions/modifications to shoes, sometimes imaging may be required to get a clearer picture of the severity of the foot concern.

We can refer our patients for x-ray, ultrasound or MRI imaging.

  • CAM Boot Implementation and Fitting.

CAM boots are used where specific foot / ankle injuries require no weight bearing as part of your treatment plan to allow an injury to heal. When fitted by one of our podiatrists, a CAM boot may be claimable by your health insurance.

  • Orthotic Implementation.

Orthotics can be beneficial in the management of many foot and ankle concerns. Their aim is to improve the way you walk, run or function so that the load on the affected part of your foot is reduced or redistributed.  We have worked alongside Geelong and Melbourne orthotic labs for 9 years and ensure all our devices are made to the highest standard for our patients. Podiatry health insurance rebates are available on orthotic devices in our clinic.

  • Diabetes Foot Assessments and Diabetes Preventative Care.

Diabetes is a concern within Australia and some people do not realise just how uncontrolled diabetes can affect our feet. If you are newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for a while but haven’t seen a podiatrist, book in with us now as we will undertake a thorough foot assessment including vascular testing, nerve testing, muscle testing as well as a footwear assessment and advice. With your consent, we can correspond any results with your doctor to ensure they are kept up to date with your podiatry appointments.

  • Paediatric Podiatry.

We treat babies to young children to adolescents in our clinic. Our podiatrists have young families of their own and know the importance of protecting the growing foot. Whether it’s in-toeing, toe walking, tired/sore legs, growing pains, heel and shin pain, “Sever’s Disease”, Tinea Pedis concerns, plantar warts, fungal toenails, or any other concern you may have with your child’s feet, we are here to help and will make your child feel right at ease with our friendly manner.
